Special thanks to my insightful and supportive beta [livejournal.com profile] skinscript, who improved this story immensely. I messed with it after the beta though, so probably added new mistakes.

Anyone willing to look over 1800 odd words of Leverage (Alec/Eliot)? I think they make a cute couple.

I tried to make a Wagnerian opera channel but the damn thing keeps playing orchestral versions of Wagner. It didn't recognize the tenors I put in. Then I made a Placido Domingo channel which was okay, but it kept playing too man dumb things. Finally I made a Bartok channel and it is awesome.Make your own radio station Except for that Debussy piece they snuck in. That sucked.

I've got about a 4000 word rough draft of Ellen/Dean, Ellen/Sam, Ellen/Dean/Sam pwp in search of a beta. Does anyone in these parts even read het??

I want to preface this by saying that I'm a big girl now, and I'm not blaming anyone for this, just trying to work out in my own head how I feel and why I feel that way.

I'm all weirded out by this story I recently read )

Okay, one more little thing, and then I'll try to shut up about this episode.

I just want to say )

=:-()

let me rephrase that

D:

I've been all over reading a million different people and their thoughts, reactions, etc to the episode so I have no idea where this came from. No doubt I got the idea from someone else, because I hardly ever have thoughts of my own.

I'm now going to freak out over things that are purely speculative. Because it's what I do.

cut for spoilers up to 4.14 only )

I am offended by the linking of sex and violence, but I'm also kind of hardened to it.

I enjoyed the episode, but don't click if you don't want your squee harshed )

Reason #4 that I love Supernatural:

Route 666.

Okay, yeah, ghost truck is about as lame a plot as it's possible to get, but this episode made my daughter happy.

Sadly, she isn't used to seeing herself reflected on the shows she likes to watch )

I left the [livejournal.com profile] dean_sam community so that I wouldn't be tempted to look at spoilers, but I still couldn't resist. I'm probably the only fan who likes the recent possible spoiler/possible red herring from Jared.

It seems right to me. It reminds me of
this line from Horton Hatches an Egg )

Reason #3 that I love Supernatural:

Remember in Wendigo, when Dean likes the botw? First because she compliments his car, but then, when he finds out she and her two brothers are on their own, and

she says )

Desperately seeking a beta for my SGA tag to the finale, Enemy at the Gate. It's about 4000 words.
G rated John/Rodney. Someone, anyone, please?

Continuing on with my New Year's resolution to spend more time writing about the things I love, here is reason #2 that I love Supernatural. The director did not seem invested in reining in Mitch Pileggi's incredible presence when he guest starred on the show, and in fact, allowed Caldwell to put Jensen Ackles in just the position I wanted to see him in.

Check it out )

Take particular note of Ackle's eroticized non-con expression in the close up
here )

[livejournal.com profile] dramaphile wrote me a conduit story (Sam/Dean/OFC) for the [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_xmas exchange and it's sooooooo good.

I forgot what I'd requested so this was a fantastic surprise.

The only New Year's resolution I made to myself was to spend more time writing about the things I love. So, reason #1 that I love Supernatural is that you can make an awesome fanvid like this one without taking anything out of context.
