erdaOkay, one more little thing, and then I'll try to shut up about this episode.
I'm going to clutch Dean's claim to have read the Odyssey close to my heart and use it to block out all the times I felt the writers were trying to make him seem stupid.
Now I want the scene that opens with Dean sprawled out prettily on his bed reading Carlos Castaneda. I myself have only read snippets of the man's books, but just because I'm not a fan of male navel gazing doesn't mean I wouldn't be thrilled for Dean to be. While I'm dreaming up my favorite scene, how bout if Dean flushes and hides the book guiltily when Sam unexpectedly walks in? Cause the only thing better than Dean reading Carlos Castaneda would be Dean hiding it from Sam.

The Ditz: Dean is either this about things not relating to his family/car/career, a genius ditz (who just pretends to be dumb so Sam can feel better, presumably) or coming perilously close to acting like a brainless beauty.
