Recently I had occasion to write kink for the first time. As a beginning writer, I’ve been experimenting, trying different kinds and styles of writing, and seeing what I can learn from each. I had an idea that kink would be relatively easy to write - just do a little research into what people find arousing about the kink and make sure you work the important details into your scenario, I thought. Turned out to be a lot harder than that, and mostly what I learned from the experience is that good kink is as hard to write as any other type of story.
