Do you really think social workers are choosing gay or unmarried couples over straight married ones? Get real. Gay couples are already discriminated against all the time. The only time a gay couple is usually considered for a child at all is if the child is so severely mentally, emotionally or physically impaired that no other family is willing to take the kid on, and the only other option is an institution.
