Now I have to go around and resubscribe under my shiny new user name. I picked the name keefaq when I first joined lj on a whim, and I've been regretting it ever since, so I've renamed myself.

Sorry about your computer. That sucks. I hate having to run around d/l and transferring stuff and all that work just to get back to where you were before.
What comm? Do I know about this comm? Refresh my memory; I'm old.

Date: 2009-04-19 01:44 pm (UTC)The transfer of files was fine, the new computer was super cheap, but I decided to go windowless, so I'm running it with Ubuntu as an operating system. (Linux type system - free, free, free)
But, there's a learning curve, I got my email going, and some things working. Other things to come. I don't think I'm going to import my LJ, so I might just work on setting up DW and ignore the other stuff for a while.
