crossposting problems?

Are there issues with the crossposting thing or is it just me? Cause I just got a cross posting failed message and I don't see why. I mean, all you do is check that little crossposty ticky box when you post, right? I've seen a fair number of people crossposting to lj and I haven't heard anyone having problems. I'm probably doing something brainless, but it seems so simple that I can't see what could be wrong on my part.

The crossposter is still in alpha, and there are a number of things that aren't really working with it yet. I got some funny notification messages, too, but my post actually had crossposted when I checked in over on my LJ, so I dismissed it as a minor bug. I would check in with the getting_started comm, there have been a few posts about the crossposter in there--if it's still not working, I would make a post in that comm asking for help? I know a lot of the people who know how to help watch that comm and are incredibly quick to offer advice!

For me, LJ crossposting is working perfectly. IJ is fifty fifty, though it seems to work better if I'm logged into IJ. Haven't yet succeeded with Inksome, haven't tried with Journalfen. It's all still a little buggy, but every day the functionality is improving so I'm not about to complain. Not until we're out of open beta and I'm paying money for it, anyway. :)

Anyway, I don't think it's just you.

I took were_duck's advice and it's already fixed. Turns out firefox had automatically input the wrong password for lj. So I'm good to go!
