I was shocked recently in all the conversation over vividcon to learn that apparently some vidders disdain the 'living room' viewer of vids. Wow, that's like saying you'd really rather no one read your fic just for fun.
Also if it's on You Tube it must be bad, is the other thing a lot of people seem to think.
