Now I'm watching Highlander, which overall isn't that interesting so far, but I understand the good stuff comes after Methos appears, and I just got to the first ep he is in. I'm watching solely so I can read the fic.
Aha! I can't really imagine any other reason to watch the show. Other than Joe, Joe's cool.
The films are a minefield of suck too. The one that came out just post series, End Game, which tries to meld movie!verse and tv!verse is kind of important, because there's some good post-film Duncan/Methos fic out there. I went with the wikipedia write-up over watching and that worked fine.
