I just want to say that seriously I appreciate that , at least in theory, I've got a lot of rights. I like not having to cover my head when I go outside, I like not being owned by my husband, etc. I realize in many places in the world these rights don't exist for women. I appreciate that I can bitch and moan and not have to really worry about being thrown into prison. I like being able to vote and agitate for what I think is right.
I appreciate that the ACLU once sued a company for me and got me a job where no woman had worked before. There are lots of places in the world where that just wouldn't happen.
I really don't want to go live anywhere else (well, ok, maybe I do like Canada a lot, but I don't know enough about them to know what problems they have).
But, anyway, to get to my point.
