I have read the occasional good het story, most notably by synecdochic. I actually got online to look for het stories (Jack/Sam) when I first got interested in SG1, and maybe I just fell on some particularly bad stuff, idk, but I couldn't stand the het stuff and quickly got sucked into the slash pairing.
