John/Ronon is my back up pairing for when Rodney is busy asserting his heterosexuality. I see I had Amelia's name wrong, despite, believe it or not, the fact that I looked it up. Anyway, I fixed it now. I have mixed feelings about her character. The writers seem hung up on the notion that the way to prove they aren't sexist is to give women some mad fighting skills, which to me seems a bit simple minded.
