One more thing about the finale
That scene right before Sam jumped into the pit, where the camera went to Dean's face, mirrored the zeroing in on Sam's face in the green room right before Dean killed Zachariah, so well. So much faith and trust and love, but mostly just devotion, a bearing witness 'I am here with you in your darkest hour' moment. That was so incredible.
Show does symmetry very, very well sometimes.
