I have mixed feelings about this. I do perceive a qualitative difference in the type of tiredness I've experienced since getting ill, but I've been dismissing that impression as illusory. My reluctance to draw too sharp a line between the before and after of getting sick is probably equal parts denial and a wish to avoid looking like I feel I deserve special snowflake status for having a chronic illness.

I don't know these acronyms. What do TAB, ME and CFS stand for?
